Light Headed by Steve Knight Steve emailed us saying he doesn't use the lightbulb for this routine. He's come up with a very different approach using...Rocky Raccoon! here's his very funny routine: Start out with the Woofle Dust and put it into the box; place that aside or in somebody’s hand. Then take out your Rocky Raccoon, and do your quick routine with him. (Here’s an idea: as you are feeding him, take out a Malteaser or a few chocolate chips, turn Rocky around as if he is doing his business in your hand without you realising, pick him up and it looks as if he has done his business in your hand. If you want, eat it and the kids love it.) Then go through some patter about how police dogs sniff out things for the police. Well I’m going to hypnotise Rocky into being a police dog. Let him have as sniff of the red ball, put him in a trance and put him aside for a moment. Put the sponge balls inside the bag, get up your five volunteers, have them each take out a ball and hold it tight in their fists. Now bring back Rocky and tell him to sniff out the red ball. Let him have a sniff of everyone's hand; have him jump on them if you like. Eventually, let him find the red ball by looking up at you and wagging his tail. Then say your going to do it again. Have everyone take out a ball (except the red one) then tell him to find the red ball. I make him pull me over to my box, and take out a can of Red Bull! No Rocky, find the red ball, that’s the Red Bull! He sniffs everyone's hands again but he can’t find it. He does it again and looks up at you in confusion. Have everyone open their hands and show there is no red ball. Let Rocky check the box with the Woofle dust in and he starts going wild. Open the box and display the red ball. Play around with it and make it your own, that’s just what works best for me, but I would suggest giving it a try. |
